So, please relist these games digitally and keep the online servers working for the foreseeable future in Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed and The decisions to withdraw particular features or modes of certain EA games, or to retire online services relating to older EA games are never easy. The other situation that left many Need for Speed fans very disappointed was the fact that these games were immediately removed from digital stores without notice.įor your information, many fans still want to buy these games to play the single-player even after the online features are removed. If we look at this case, seeing NFS Carbon (a game from 2006) and NFS Shift 2 and The Run (both games from 2011) shutting down on the same day it's just not fair at all.Īnd while I understand the shutdown of NFS Carbon, Undercover and Shift, it would be nice to have some more time to enjoy it's online features, so I suggest that EA postpone the servers closure date for these three games (Carbon, Undercover and Shift), for example until January 2022.
